Carnatic Music Association of Indianapolis (CMAI) is a volunteer run non-profit committed to preserving and promoting Southern India's classical performing arts in the Central Indiana area. Since 1987, we have organized diverse vocal and instrumental concerts by various artists performing in the South Indian classical styles of music.

Composer's day 2025
Participants can perform songs of various Carnatic composers except Thyagaraja for this event

CMAI members can participate for free as part of your membership.
1) What time will I or my child be performing for Composer's day?
We will give an approximate time frame for a particular age group to perform 1-2 days before event
2) Do I need to buy membership if only my child is performing?
Those who are not CMAI members yet, the participation fee will be prorated to $20 / individual for this year's Composer's Day only
We encourage those who are not members, to purchase memberships, our membership drive starts on Thyagaraja Aradhana day, every spring.
